The Redback is a very popular event for groups of friends or club members to come and race and experience together. With plenty of great riding and time for some great socializing it is a fun way to experience the event.
WHAT DEFINES A GROUP OF RIDERS?
A Group of riders is simply a bunch of 5 or more riders doing all 6 stages. You don’t need to be from the same MTBA club per-see but just advise us that you are here with these other people.
Simply enter the event individually and add your GROUP or CLUB NAME when prompted in the entry system so we can track who is entered then we will join you together and make the data sides of it happen.
You do not need to assemble the names and details of all riders first, just enter individually and the entry system will match you up.
HOW DO WE WIN THE CASH?
THE RULES
We will recognize a Group / Club Category as part of the results at the end of each stage – determined by the fastest average time for that stage for each group. So if you have 5 or 25 people in your group you will still be ranked by your average time.
THE MOST AVERAGE WINS! The group who finishes in the middle of the group standings at the end of the 6 stages will win the $1,000 cash.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- We will not be accepting any group or club entries after 8:00am AEST Friday 15 July 2022.
- We will not accept any further ‘additions’ to group/club entries after 8:00am AEST Friday 15 July 2022.
- All individuals in a group must be ‘Six-Stage Riders’ to qualify as a group entrant.
